Workshops:

Over the 15 months, ending October 2006, we are hosting several workshops across the UK.  Each workshop focuses on a range of trust issues that arise through the development and deployment of new technologies with the goal of developing guidelines for those engaged in the researching, development and delivery of ICT as to how cyber trust might be enhanced.

Each workshop seeks to refine a living document that builds into an appropriate set of guidelines.

Details of the workshops are as follows:

Living documents

Attendees at workshops are invited and encouraged to continue the dialog we have begun by participating in on-line discussions hosted on this web site.  Much as we would like every attendee to attend every workshop, we realise that this is unrealistic.  Instead we invite attendees at any one workshop to contribute to discussions arising from other workshops that they cannot attend.

We encourage and moderate the discussions that develop and use this as the basis for the guidelines we develop.  We also expect themes to develop as we proceed from one workshop to the next.  This ‘learning process’ is key to eventual success of the project.
